Information of change of KSP-VLBI observations

We finished routine observation on November 30, 2001

We are now carrying out routine real-time VLBI with 3 stations on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday since July 2001.

Miura station was closed in January 2001.

We are now carrying out routine real-time VLBI with 3 stations on every two days.

Routine VLBI observations in KSP attended by the four stations (Kashima, Koganei, Miura, and Tateyama) has been carried out as the real-time VLBI in cooperation with the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) since June, 1997. However, the connection of Miura station to real-time VLBI network was lost forever on May 6, 1999.

After May 7, 1999, routine real-time VLBI is carried out on Kashima, Koganei, and Tateyama on every 2 days basis. Miura will attend observations as a "tape-based VLBI" but every 6 days since May 27, 1999.

The relation of observation dates between "Real-time VLBI" and "Tape-based VLBI" is as follows.
